KANTO - A recent live stream by Nintendo Treehouse revealed that the ability to change a wild Pokémon's nature will be at your will in Pokémon: Let's Go!

About 14 minutes into the live stream, the streamers enter a Pokémon Center in Celadon City to heal their Pokémon. Once they heal their Pokémon and show a cool TM feature with Eevee, they walk over to the fortune teller who is standing in the left side of the building. This fortune teller has the ability to change a wild Pokémon's nature (if you don't know what nature is, click here to read up on it).

There are a couple questions that the fortune teller asks, and you must answer them a certain way in order to get a certain outcome.

Which colors coordinate to which natures is something you will have to find out by yourself by experimenting. But what I can tell you is that there are 25 different natures that your Pokémon can assume (click here and scroll down to find the chart will all the different nature possibilities).

For example - Once the fortune teller is done questioning the character in the Nintendo Treehouse live stream, she does a quirky ritual. Once the ritual is done, she says "The encounters you will have this day are likely to have...Yes! A lonely nature!" The keyword to take away from that is whatever word falls in between "A" and "nature." in this case it is "lonely," which means that your Pokémon's attack will increase and its defense will decrease.

The streamer says that the effects of the ritual will last "quite a while" but explains that they want players to find out how long it actually lasts on their own.

So what we know from watching the live stream is that there is definitely at least one location where you can change a Pokémon's nature, and it is found in Celadon City. There may be other locations that you can do such, but that much we do not know yet. It is also worth noting that it will cost 10,000 Pokémon dollars in order to change a Pokémon's nature.

This is all big news considering in previous Pokémon games players had to search for hours to try to find a Pokémon with a certain type of nature. Now, you can change a Pokémon's nature with a few clicks from your joycon and some Pokémon dollars.

Which Pokemon's nature would you want to change? And what would you want its nature to be so you have a leg up in battles? Comment below!
