Brawlout is a nifty platform fighter. If you need a game to hold you off till Smash Bros is released or do not own an Nintendo Switch, look no further! Think Smash Bros but with Indie Hero's.
As someone who has hasn't played a smash bros game in over 10 years and reading a few bad reviews online about Brawlout I was surprised by this game, it plays well, and its fun. The game has nice unique characters 24 to be exact each with different fighting styles, 13 arenas, 4 game modes. I had a lot of fun playing the multiplayer mode with while drinking with a few of my friends. The graphics are I'd give about a 7/10 the colors are vibrant the character model slick and stylish with come cool animations.
The only downsides are how swarmed you get in a four-player match, it doesn't have random weapon drops to use during battle and how it is a very time consuming process to unlock new stuff, I was lucky enough to snag this game on the Xbox Marketplace of $10.00 but it normally sells for $20.00. It's a easy pick up and play game and for the cheap price I would deffinately recommend this game.
