Rocket League is a soccer inspired game developed by Psyonix. Unlike football games like Pro Evolution or FIFA, Rocket League is less of a "sports game" and more of an actual sport itself. In any traditional sports game (NBA 2K, NFL Madden, MLB The Show, Etc.) there is a "pass" button, but in Rocket League you have to make a pass by driving your car into the ball at the right speed and angle to send it into your teammates direction. You create the pass yourself, and it can be anything, from a hard bounce off the back wall to a soft lob over the defender.

Rocket League is a prime example of a simple idea done the right way. It doesn’t need a complicated progression system or diverse player choices to keep it fun, it’s just fun as is. You can choose from 1v1 , 2v2 , 3v3 , or 4v4 Matches. Your given fast rocket-powered cars that can jump or fly around and you use them to knock a ball into the oppositions goal. That’s all there is to the core game-play. It is very unique now-a-days that a game with an idea so basic turns out to be a super fun, super successful game. The online community is huge and very competitive. The local co-op makes it a great game for a party and the simple controls are welcoming to anyone. Like most of the games i review their tons of customization.
