FIFA is introducing anti-doping rules to their FIFA (PS4 /XBOX) participants. This new was very odd for me at the beginning. Why is FIFA doing this? What if a player Smokes or drinks something 'recreational'?
The FIFA says in their statement>
'dedicated and experienced FIFA Doping Control Officer recently involved in the 2018 FIFA World Cup has also been appointed to oversee anti-doping controls for WADA-prohibited substances, including stimulants, during this year’s Grand Final. Anti-doping controls during this year’s competition will see players selected via random or targeted methods in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code. " FIFA.COM
I personally disagree with the new 'rule' I can't believe that if a person is good for playing some video game, you make him or her pass anti-doping test at the same level as an Olympic Athlete. WADA-prohibited substances are very strict and square with the athletes.
Added to this I don't consider my any means that a person can enhance his playing performance in video games with drugs.
Let me know what do you think about this.
