The October fever is here, which means that it’s time to make way for the coming of the big leagues. In a three-part tournament spanning a month set to kick off on October 2, the toughest esports teams from all around the globe will be battling in the final stage of the League of Legends Worlds 2019.

You know the drill. For LoL avids like me who also happen to engage in Bitcoin esports betting, rallying the favorites is part of the pre-game ritual. It has to be. So before heading into the long-awaited main event, let’s count the days by foreseeing who has the highest chance to hold the title.

Top 5 Strongest Teams in the Worlds 2019

Fnatic (LEC)

Fnatic has a solid rep in this event for winning the very first LoL World Championship. That’s a huge statement and a legacy to maintain, setting the bar way too high. But the team has had no problem keeping up with the title over the years. Fnatic has always been a top player in the event, having put up good fights against LoL giants like Alliance, CLG.EU, or Moscow 5. Last year, they finished second in the Worlds. What’s keeping them from going back on top? Nothing, for sure. So I expect no less than consistency and a stronger drive to win this year.

Royal Never Give Up (LPL)

RNG struggled quite a bit and plummeted down the LoL World Championship 2019 rankings after meeting un unfortunate fate against Top Esports. However, the team is well-known for its quick bounce-back and resilience, which they showcased well in that match against Invictus. Still has a lot of work cut out for them, but with mid laner Xiaohu who’ll surely play a huge part, RNG has a standing chance.

FunPlus Phoenix (LPL)

If you want to talk about consistency, FunPlus Phoenix and its 12-1 record speaks volumes. FPX is probably the most consistent team in the LPL so far. While the team has drawn negative criticism towards them before for being unable to turn early-game momentum into mid-game success, this surely won’t be the case in the finals.

SKT T1 (LCK)

Nobody wants a team that operates like a robot, but SKT is just so perfectly-coordinated that you would think the team is fully-automated. Even G2’s impressive plays and Samsung White’s creativity couldn’t hold them off. With four consecutive World Championship titles carved on harmoniously ruthless plays, SKT T1 is one of the clear favorites going into the final tourney. The team’s precision and miniscule margin of error is what makes them one of the toughest teams to beat in the Worlds.

G2 Esports (LEC)

G2 may have encountered a lot of detours on the way to LoL supremacy as time and again they’ve struggled to keep up at international events. But that’s exactly what makes them one of the most revered teams in the Worlds, because of how swift they handle these obstacles like rising from the ashes. The 2017 MSI run was enough to cover that, but what truly put all doubts to rest is their win at the 2019 edition. After signing mid lane superstar Caps, I think we can all agree that G2 Esports will walk in with a tough fight.

The LoL World Championship 2019 is down the road and in just two days, the greatest matches in esports history will unfold. Having these teams battle for world domination for the longest time will surely be a sight to see. Which team are you betting on?
