Ashraf Ismail is the game director behind Black Flag, a major fan favorite, & AC Origins, which rebooted the entire franchise after a decade of traditional style, & now Valhalla. He is the reason why Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be amazing. With every entry Ashraf Ismail has made they have been incredibly atmospheric & vivid recreations of the historical settings they were in. Everyone loved the songs in Black Flag & "pirates of the Caribbean" vibe the game gave off. Personally the Sahara desert in Origins is my all time favorite game map. With the new Viking setting Ashraf will finally give gamers the Viking RPG we've never gotten. Sure, there have been many Norse inspired games but never a true Viking game where you can sail across the sea in your longship while singing songs about Thor.
