Have tried as much as possible to bring you this lovely trailer released by one of the game well known developers "Krafton" , couldn't let this pass by so I thought I should let my scorum gaming users know about the trailer of the game that could easily bring smile to the faces of gamers.
'MistOver' is a 2D Strategy Logic RPG released as a PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch version.
The video was released on March 26th(Yesterday) in PAX EAST 2019 in Boston, and it contains a variety of actual gameplay elements, unlike the previously released teaser video.
MistOver is a dungeon exploration type logike RPG that tells the story of a research team exploring deep dungeons to save humanity. The game is largely made up of explorations and combat.
During the expedition, the player must move forward with proper management of resources such as food and 'light flower'. Food is related to physical fitness. As you move around the dungeon, it slowly shrinks, and when the food goes to zero, the characters are slightly slashed. The second resource, light Flower, is a resource related to the 'fog of revenge', one of the key gimmicks in the game.
The mystery of the rewards is not only limited to the field of view but also to pollute the body and mind of the person, cause illness or hallucination. 'Light flower is a flower that can get rid of such a fog, ironically it grows in the pillars of despair, growing up eating human blood.
The 'bush' limits the monster's field of view. When you are chased by a monster, if you hide inside the bush or cross the bush, the monster will lose your place and stop your pursuit. Under the constraints of limited resources, combat is a risk to the progress of the party, so strategic choice of players is important whether to proceed with defeating monsters or avoiding combat using terrain elements.
There are other obstacles to progress. This obstacle can be destroyed by using the skill of a specific character to create a new path. Destroying obstacles and pioneering shortcuts makes it easier for the player to move forward, so considering the character to remove these obstacles in the player configuration is also an area that the player can judge. According to the video, each character seems to possess various skills that affect the progress of the expedition. The second half of the video also revealed a short battle scene. The battle is basically a turn-based process, and the order of action is determined by the character unit, not by the party. Up to now, eight characters have been released, including Paladin, Shadow Blade, Sister, Picture Ripper, Kangin, Yin Yang, and Werewolf. Each character can learn up to 20 skills. It is also up to the player to set the skill combination of the characters before beginning the expedition.
On the other hand, 'MistOver' released its first teaser video on March 12, attracting a lot of users' attention, and will be released via PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch. This video was released in preparation for PAX EAST 2019 from March 28 to March 31, and more information will be released.
