Cristiano Ronaldo is feeling thankful to his fellow Juventus team-mates for helping him get over a dry spell after he scored a brace in a 2-1 won over Sassuolo.

The 33-year-old has failed to find the back of the net in the first three Serie Amatches following a €112million transfer from Real Madrid in July before finally breaking his duck on Sunday evening.

He scored from close range after 50 minutes to break the deadlock and a total minutes of 320minutes and later scored the second goals 15minutes later.

Ronaldo praised and acknowledge the effort of the way Juventus broke down a stubborn visiting defence and admitted that his failurr to find the nethad been starting to play on his mind.

"I'm very glad,we begin well,"he told Mediaset.

"Sassuolo did a great job in their defence,but we try and we put in an outstanding peformamce and we deserved to win.

"I really wanted to score these first goals and am happy have found the back of the net"

Juventus begin their Champion league game with a visit to Valencia and the return of Cr7 to Spain he left earlier this season.
