Jose Mourinho assured that he has taken away the position of vice-captaincy at Manchester United, but insists they have not fallen out.

Reports begain to go round prior to United's disappointing 8-7 penalty shoot-out defeat to Derby County in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday that Pogba - who was relieved today to rest a bit - had been relieved of the role.

Pogba was slammed by his manager during trianing and told and told he would never wear the captain's band on United again, as he did not have the right temperament for the work.

But the United midfielder has made several comments on this which some have considered to be veiled digs at Morinho in this season, the latest come in following the 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday.

He said that: "The only fact is that he made the decision that Pogba not to be second captain anymore. He continues by saying "The person who made the decision to be second captain was also ne. it's just one decision which i don't have to explain".

United continues their campaign on saturday against West Ham and will expect them to come out of defect.
