My beginnings in the world of electronic sports began when I was 15 years old. Before venturing into the world of Dota, I had played the sequels of "Warcraft Reign of Chaos" and "Warcraft® III: The Frozen Throne".

The game Dota managed to captivate millions of people, thanks to the previous titles. The story of how Prince Arthas tries to save his people from a strange plague that results in undead and how their mission ends in total disgrace. The end of Warcraft® III: The Frozen Throne left a big gap in the hearts of all fans, the Blizzard company took advantage of the great success of these 2 titles and in 2004 launched its first MMORPG (massive multiplayer online role-playing game) World of Warcraft and a time after the expected continuation of the fate of the Arthas principle, under the title "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King"

The first appearance of dota

His first appearance was in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. A user named "Eul" took the time to create a MOBA style map which is a great success within the community, something that is unknown is because "Eul" stopped editing the game with the output of Warcraft Frozen Throne, but this was not the end of this newborn and other editors would resume the project. Steve "Guinsoo" Feak created the version most played by the community "Dota All Stars" and gave away the right to IceFrog designs.

La Dota became one of the most played MOBA and was one of the pioneers in the world of electronic sports. In 2009, IceFrog takes the game Dota and creates its own community, while its partners join Riot Games to create a MOD based on Dota. With the appearance of League of Legends as official MOBA, it was supposed to give a mortal blow to the community of dota, but it was not, the game continued to grow in players thanks to the forums. Icefrog (still an enigma of this user) was hired by the company Valve and in 2011 the game was reborn with the name of Dota2.

With the appearance of Dota2, The Defense of the Ancient officially dies, but all the followers are received in the new and reborn Dota2, its launch is Free to Play.

Dota was part of my adolescence and I enjoyed many pleasant hours in the company of enemies who eventually became friends.
