ESports in today's generation has been too rampant and recognized by many organizations and communities. Game makers are the ones primarily organized such events and tournaments, as a form of promotion to their developed and published games by giving back some part of their revenues to be put into prize pools and rewards.
Most games currently part of ESports are mostly fighting games, card games and war games where each of those games has a huge fan and player base that continuously supporting their respective games. Games include Dota2, Counter-Strike GO, League of Legends, Overwatch, Heartstones and many others.
Still, some game developers are looking forward on joining the ESports system so they could maintain the interest of gamers on their games. By putting more competition on the game with the use of tournaments will give passion to gamers and that they will stay on the game for a longer time.
Today, there are too many game competitors and that if they will not act the usual strategies that many game companies do, surely they will behind in terms of sales and marketing. Game players nowadays choose the best games that they will maintain since there is a huge number of games in the market where there are frequent new games popping in.
Soon, iRacing and Real Racing 3 are racing games that will be soon part of ESports. Chances are there will be qualifying matches around August and October while November to next year for the semifinals and finals. This is a big news for ESports fans and players, giving them the option to what games they will master.
You don't have to be athletic to be a part of a competition, with the use of gaming technology, you can be a sports competitor. ESports will be the new generation of sports and will surely be recognized by all the people around the world.
What i am looking forward into this coming Olympics that they will include ESports as an official sports.
