It was a great competition in Global Championship Mid-Season Brawl for the Heroes of the Storm Game wherein 12 teams that wins on corresponding HGC Series (Heroes of the Storm Global Championships) represents into the brawl.
The tournament was held in Elmia Convention Center, Jönköping, Sweden which is being organized by Blizzard Entertainment and DreamHack. The tournament format is played via round-robin in group stage and then double elimination in playoffs.
The total prize pool of the tournament is $250,000 USD.
What is Heroes of the Storm?
Heroes of the Storm is a multi-player action game which is both published and developed by gaming company Blizzard Entertainment. This game is supported in both Microsoft Windows and MacOS.
The heroes of the game is composed of different hero characters in blizzard games like Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft, Overwatch and The Lost Vikings.
Each heroes do have different characteristics and skills where each of them have different techniques and abilities. It is a good game for those who want to experiencing clashing of different Blizzard game heroes.

Group Stage
All 12 teams are divided into two groups and will have a round-robin match and 2 teams of each group will be eliminated according to their game performance.
Mindfreak, TheOne, Chall Enge and Luna Meow are eliminated immediately in Group Stage while the remaining top 4 of each group proceed to the next round. Among all the teams in group stage Gen.G did show a great performance sweeping their opponents.
Playoffs
The games in playoffs are played in double elimination where each of them team do have chances. It was really advantage for those teams that are in Upper bracket since they are twice to lose before they get eliminated into the tournament while those who falls in the Lower bracket will immediate be eliminated when they lose a match.
The battle was too intense until finals where each of the player have shown their skills and talents in the game. Gen.G manage to win in a close fight with Team Dignitas with a 4-3 in favor of Gen.G. It was really terrific for Gen.G to maintain Upper bracket until finals.
Gen.G was the champion of the tournament and earned the first prize $100,000.
