An eSports town, that is about the size of nearly 70 football fields, has been constructed! If you've ever dreamed about having a full-fledged town dedicated to the person that lives and breathes eSports, now might be the time to look into moving!

At the moment, the town is mainly just an eSports venue and business complex, but the $280M project is slated to have many more editions by 2022. Allied Esports and LGD gaming have created this intriguing town in partnership with HyperX, who recently opened a massive eSports area in the heart of Las Vegas.

It is slated to become the home of LoL in China, but other competitive games are expected to hold tournaments and events in the massive gaming eutopia. It is expected to bring at least 10,000 players at the time of completion.

As of today, there are 14 different structures and attractions planned for the massive location. Some of the buildings will of course, be player housing, an eSports themed hotel and amusement park, an eSports training academy, and a specialized hospital.

The hospital itself is one of the most interesting developments as it will specialize in care for the competitive gamer. One can assume that they will have staff on hand to deal with mental fatigue and exhaustion, alongside moderate physical therapy for repetitive motion and long periods of sitting.

Upon completion, and at the price of $2.2 Billion, Hangzhou hopes to make itself the true capital of eSports in China when they host the Asian Games in 2022.

The latest sensation scorching its way across the Nevada desert has got to be the brainchild of Jeffrey Berns.

After investing early into cryptocurrency this self-made millionaire and CEO of Blockchains LLC has been a very busy man.

Buying up tons of prime land this entrepreneuring individual intends to create a blockchain powered village, incorporating one token in particular to his dream of a chain driven society, Etherium.

The blockchain and other innovative technologies will be deployed in order to support residents and industry spanning an area of approximately 67 thousand acres, nestling in alongside industry greats such as Teslas Production Factory.

Now I personally question the token of choice but believe the project has some merit indeed and can only hope for the best for Mister Berns.

Only time will tell how this project will turn out, construction is tentatively timelined to start Q3 2019. Pending government approval of course.

London's Tate Modern had something to add to the growing interest in gaming-centric housing and training solutions.

Populous unveiled their concept for the eSports housing of the future, which seems like some kind of dome/ant tunnel hybrid! Although the design is slick, it seems like a bit of an over-engineered solution, nonetheless.

The design consists of two separate towers, one will feature everything competition-centric, while the second tower will be dedicated to housing and leisure.

To draw in people from the outside there will be somewhat of a park that features recreational areas like a skate park and perhaps even a rock climbing wall housed in gardens. Beyond that is where things get interesting.

Upon entering there will be a huge amphitheatre with massive screens for viewing tournaments. There will also be a second viewing area in a "hippodrome" that seems to be, by description, an immersive viewing experience. What is different from the usual eSports experience is that the players will actually not even be present in the same room. Instead, they will be playing in an isolated dome that is suspended by trusses high above. One can assume that is to limit distraction from the massive crowds.

The player housing with be in something called "The Egg". The towers will feature training areas, swimming pools, rooftop gardens, a lounge, gym, and even custom battle stations.

Since this is currently just a concept, there are no locations planned, but it isn't unimaginable to see these cropping up in the future at gaming capitals of the world!

Here is a brief video!
