One of my focuses for this site is to get exclusive content, things that people want to come here for. It has taken a while but I have interviews lined up with many prominent CEOs and CTOs in the crypto gaming space. I feel from my research this is the vein that is closet to take off and can streamline mass adoption for this platform.
Scorum meet Kyle Garner.
He is the CEO and main developer of the Enjin backed game Cats-in-Mechs. This was one of our earliest recorded conversations. Since this has been recorded his Telegram channel has grown to 612 members. And his AI assistant Catbot has given players hundreds of free lootboxes. Just for joining and being active in the channel. All of these mechboxes have enjin backed items.
He looks young. Does he have any experience?
Loads!
With a resume that includes working at Bioware on megahits like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic he has forged his own path into the gaming sphere as an indie game developer.
With many contacts and friends he is a silent storm that is only growing with influence. He has attended the Game Developers Conference 12 times! He carries a decade of just expo experience!
But what about the game?
A picture says a thousand words and what not.
Above is Prissy VonTreat. The big bad of the game. A playable character but there's a twist. Only one player can own her. And it's random who that player is. Exciting right?
She is the cruel leader of the Brambleclaw faction which is stocked with fierce mechs like the blade wielding Panthrak.
Her opposition is lead by the fearless Gata Telltail. A savy tactician who leads the forces opposed to VonTreat's reign. And has the same rarity. Future posts will go into more detail.
With adaptable gameplay and elements of machine learning the game adapts to you. Such as adding stats to your stealth for kills before your opposition can call for allies. This leads to your computer opponents growing more cautious about isolating themselves.
Engineering kills add to your AoE stats. And improves the "bouncy house" ability aka number of times your projectiles bounce around after missing an enemy. Allowing you to still hit for damage on mobile foes. You earn these by using indirect/environmental damage to kill foes. Such as trash compactors and luring opponents off cliffs with lasers.
I think this game and its PvP will grab the gaming worlds attention by the tail.
And this commmunity makes their own memes.
And with a giveaway on November 19th the hype train is coming! Come join for your lootbox and let the users in there know you saw this on Scorum.

Below is an example of how mech customization looks. You can alter everything from the headpiece, the weapons and even the color of your chosen mech.
Give it a listen and thank Kyle for dipping his toes into Scorum.
He and I have hours of content to use and are having difficulty on what to pick. So in the future we will do an AMA and see where the Scorum community wants us to focus on in terms of showcasing the game. Expect more game updates, lore, teasers and maybe even free loot to be coming your way.
Score on!
