Ast the athelets  require the demand of highly sustainable amount of oxygen fir their sucess in their fields. So in this topic  i goona to tell u about how the athelets  prepare  themselves for their fitness. 

Aerobic Training also known as Cardio exercise helps athelets to utilise oxygen for a sustainable peroid of time to sustain activity. Example of sportz which demand long-term availability of oxygen are Marathon, Swimming, cricket,  football  etc.

Sucess in many sports  requests repeated burst of high intensity energy. To achieve this athelets  require increase level of aerobic  fitness.

Athletes' bodies adapt very specifically to low to moderate-intensity activities that last for a more than just a few minutes. Sustained workouts improve your body's ability to breathe in and use oxygen. Here are the types of adjustments our bodies make internally to make these improvements. 

Effects of aerobic training on the muscles(mainly slow-twitch fibers) and support system(respiratory &  endocrine) which help in cardio fitness and muscular endurance. 

# Increase number of mitochondria in muscles which produces energy from oxygen. 

# Increase muscle ability to use fat as fuel. 

# Increased lung capacity 

# Improved Heart stroke volume (amount of blood pumped per minute).

Intensity , duration , and frequency  are key ways to improve your ability maintain cardio activity. Fitness improves when intensity is between 70-80% of maximum heart rate, but this may not be adequate for endurance athletes in some sports and events.
