Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing fine?

I decided to post something different today. Something that brings back memories to those of us who were born in the early or late 90s

Some of us were born who were born in that era were lucky to witness the evolution of games or gadgets. If these electronics or games are new to you, you need to start respecting us.. We are your elders 😀

  1. PLAYSTATION 1

PlayStation 1 was the first game CD game created by PlayStation. When you talk about PlayStation 1, it was a game that spread across the globe like wildlife. The suspense of waiting for this page to load made it fun. Sometimes, you will have to bend the side the game to the left or right side or use two CDs to load a particular game especially when your CD is bad. I bet kids of today don't know this

2. CASSETTE AND PEN

Unless you were born at least in the late 90s, you probably won't know the link between these two. Back then, most tape players didn't have the rewind but forward feature, therefore, the only way we could rewind is to insert a pencil inside the hole of the cassette and the rewind it. I bet kids of today don't know this

3. ISS SOCCER

This is a game that will always go down the history of football games. We were the first to buy SEGA in my area and I remember how our house used to be filled with crowd then. It was a very interesting soccer game and the fact that it was very hard to score made it challenging. Kids of today are only familiar with PES and FIFA but not ISS Soccer

4. JAVA PHONES

Kids of today have no idea of what we went through just to get to a particular letter on our mobile phones. Now the advent of android phone has made life easier for all. I wonder what life would be like if we're using Java phones to post on Scorum 😁

5. NINTENDO NES

They never knew how we used to clean the edge of the cartridge on 8bit Nintendo NES. I remember after playing the game for a few hours, we used to wrap it in a light cloth and then put it in the freezer so that it will cool off. It was crazy but fun. I bet you don't know Nintendo NES

6. SEGA 16BIT MORTAL COMBAT

Although, this mortal combat is just 16bit SEGA but I think it's the best so far. Beating Montaro was a tug war of contest and even if you manage to beat him, Shao Khan is waiting to deal with you. The sight of Shao Khan then used to scare everyone and I remember it took me more than five months to actually beat him. The characters in this game are many. We had the likes of Kitana, Subzero, Cyrax, Liu Kang, Jade, Sindel, etc

7. SHARP ELECTRONIC ORGANISER

This is also a very old gadget . Those of us born in the 90s might should be familiar with Sharp Electronic Organizer. It's a multipurpose gadget that can be used as calculator and keeping records. If you're not familiar with it, you need to respect us. We're your elders 😁

8. BLACK AND WHITE TV

One of those back and white televisions of those days. A well secured TV that can be locked with keys. I miss those days. We had them produced by many companies such as Panasonic, Suzuki, Sharp, etc. It's more than 10 years I set my eyes on this TV

9. VHS

VHS rocked for centuries before CD was invented. When it's dirty or damaged, it can be repaired with screwdriver, spirit, some splicing tape, scissors, and a steady hand. Kids of today know about VHS but didn't watch it

10. LODE RUNNER

You control the little man above trying to collect gold and as well avoiding those robots. All level of this game consists of ladders, ropes and bricks which you can move to. I bet you can't relate to it as a kid of today

Which of these are you familiar with? 😁

I drop my pen at this juncture 😎
