When I was growing up as a kid, I've always wondered why computer games can't have exact characteristics to real life but growing has made me realize certain things

I know I'm not alone in this thought, so as you. Even as adults, some of us still think about this. In as much as I don't know much graphics but here are the reasons why I feel that games can't be 100% realistic

a. We do not have the technological capability to get to such realism in gaming but I can't really say if that can happen in the future. Looking at movies, movie makers use digital doubles and recreations of actors, but it's still not 100% realistic.

Although, looking at evolution of games, one wouldn't dispute the fact that there have been a great improvements than what we used to have in Mario days. The difference between 16bit and ps4 shows the great improvements

b. Human nature makes it a bit difficult for game developers to make a 100% realistic graphics

If I'm right with the above statement then below is the reason

Games can never be 100% realistic because it would need to be more relatable to reality and real life practice of what is being depicted in the game. Looking at the human mind, it's programmed to be aware of reality that it will figure it out if the game character blinking goes aloof. This is the main reason why games developers will not make a sane person violent because the brain doesn't see it as real but, as a simulation.

There are many game developers striving for better experience than more realistic graphics. We can see near realistic combats, acts and effects but, the characters would still look like game characters.

Lastly, I also think games can only try but it's will not be 100% realistic due to lack of handling the details. I can vividly remember when the developers of Uncharted 4's Drake said they could make the exact character but PS would not be able to handle the details

I drop my pen at this juncture and I would like to hear you opinions
