Irrespective of the kind of games you play, as a gamer, we have this weird tendencies when playing games. It could be soccer, racing, adventure or action game and these habits usually vary from one gamer to another.
As an old time gamer, I have critically noticed some weird habits people exhibit when thrilled by the excitement of the game and I have made a compilation of them.
As a gamer, you should admit to see a part of you exhibiting at least one of these traits
1. Moving the pad around like a steering
The way some gamers move the pad around when playing racing game could be very funny. When thrilled by the excitement of the game that they will keep moving the pad left and right as if they're driving a motor. Some even keep standing and sitting repeatedly, until the they move far from the game and the pad is disconnected from the port. When we have wireless pads so they can travel miles away when gallivanting around 😁
2. Dribbling with your goalkeeper
This usually happens when you want to make your opponent frustrated especially when playing a game that will give the winner "bragging rights" with your opponent. When you're winning by a wide margin, you then pass the ball to the goalkeeper and begin to dribble his players with the aim of scoring. This is one of the way of frustrating your opponent and it's something some of us do.
3. Shouting and screaming
When gaming, some people don't know how to keep their mouth shut. While their fingers do the job, their mouths also do the talking. When you're playing a very challenging game and you managed to scale through a different stage, you happen to score a loss time goal, you just have to shout at the top of your voice and run around the house in celebration.
4. Hissing and grumbling
Some gamers are always found hissing and grumbling when a game is just too difficult. When the game does not favour them there's ways a reason to lay blame on the pad or the game developers. In a situation when the game is in your favour you will take the glory but when it's not, you begin to grumble and hiss. This is one of those traits some gamers exhibit when gaming.
5. Hiding the pad during penalty shoot out
During a penalty shoot out, you try as much as you can to hide your keypad from your opponent so that he will not know where you're aiming at. Sometimes, you purposely let you opponent see you pad during PK only to change the angle just before the shot. Some of us do this 😁
6. Watching the replay multiple times
When you're thrashing that friend of yours who wouldn't stop boasting, you watch the replay of your gaol back and forth just to frustrate him.
Gaming is really interesting that some people don't even know they exhibit some of these traits during the game.
