Drugwars- An Addicting Esport Resource Management Game
Drugwars is a resource management game that runs on the STEEM blockchain. The game has addicting leveling up of resources, fighting, fictional gang involvement and an evolving game experience.
I began playing Drugwars a month ago, and the UI has improved dramatically. As an "early adopter", I have seen the fighter units increase in number and the UI blossom.
The game's primary resources are drugs, guns and alcohol. Each resource has a group of buildings that produce the resource, but you are only paid based on drug production. You are ranked on your level of production and paid out daily in STEEM cryptocurrency. The exciting part of this equation is the more you work at the game, the more income you receive.
Gangs are a new feature of the game, and communicate through Discord. Gang leaders coordinate attacks, and this feature is still under construction.
In game fighting is addicting. After a fight concludes, you can report your results in a professional looking Steemit post that has a chance to receive an upvote. A month ago you could receive 3- nice upvotes, but today it's one at maximum. The upvote value is between $0.25-$0.5. An important note that shocked people about battles is that she you lose the battle, you lose soldier game pieces (with actual monetary value) and all unprotected resources. Be careful who you fight.
The resource management focus of this game is standard. Silo buildings protect your resources, and the more upgrades your buildings receive, the more resources you accumulate. You can fight other players for potential reward in their resources, but you cannot see their fortifications or soldiers. You can send cheap units to scout players, but a player who loses receives a 6-hour shield during which they cannot be attacked.
