Fortnite will soon allow players to participate in tournaments inside of their game. This is in high demand, users are dying for such a game mode to be implemented. Epic Games recently either intentionally or non-intentionally leaked evidence of this tournament game mode.

You can see the menu option "tournaments" in the image below.

What a tournament game mode will mean is that players will be able to compete for prizes, possibly in the Fortnite currency Vbucks. Would be great to see paid tournaments where players buy-in and the top players take the pot.

Fortnite tournaments have drawn into millions of viewers and have paid out millions of Dollars. Will be interesting to see what is to come with the in-game tournaments.

The top players will be able to play against each other while Twitch and Youtube streamers have a new style of game content to create. Epic Games is the most active gaming company of 2018 that's for sure. Constantly releasing new updates, most of which excite their user base.

It only makes sense to integrate in-game tournaments so that it's no longer a struggle to set them up. It seems unlikely that players will earn real money inside of the game, but it will be easy to setup these tournaments and so prizes can be distributed outside of the game.

I have high hopes Epic, don't let me down!
