I went to GDC, I left with Scorum (and some videos).
Welcome to my first post! Feel free to skip my intro and head straight to my GDC walk-through below. Last week I was fortunate enough to attended to the famous Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, CA. Ironically enough, I was born and raised in the SF Bay Area, building custom gaming rigs and competing in Street Fighter competitions, yet never attended GDC in my 32 years here. That all changed when I joined the DAPS team earlier this year (shameless plug incoming). I joined the DAPS team because I am passionate about blockchain privacy and loved the DAPSverse collectibles. The collectibles will be usable in several games which, as a gamer, is very exciting! Throughout the event I found a lot of enthusiastic folks and gave away some rare collectibles. For more info DM me or go to dapscoin.com. First thing that surprised me about GDC is the size of the event! It was a 15 minute walk from one side to the other. According to my iWatch I walked over 40 miles GDC week, while carrying 30-40lbs on my back! Why would anyone carry so much with them? Well, I love my toys. Needless to say I did a lot of walking and a lot of talking. Along the way I met a fellow Scorum member, @swolesome who explained the Scorum platform and community. I've always been a bit hesitant about STEEM so this platform definitely caught my attention. That's right, I walked over 40 miles at GDC and ultimately I left most excited to check out Scorum! Hah! When I'm not working in the blockchain space I'm usually tinkering with electronics, gaming, and training Muay Thai. I happen to also do some press work in MMA so with that said, I'll be bringing some exclusive content for all you MMA, gaming, and electronics junkies. :) For the electronics folks. When I wasn't using my Sony a7R II I was on my iPhone Xs with a DJI Osmo 2. The video walk-through below was done with a Rylo 360 cam. If anyone wants a normal speed VR video walk-through let me know, it may make you sick though! I'm looking forward to learning more about the platform and meeting the Scorum community! As promised, videos are below. Enjoy! GDC walk-through! 25 minutes of walking condensed down to 1 minute 57 seconds. I apologize in advance for the music. It was the only royalty free music I had, lesson learned!
