Greetings Scorum world, my name is Captain Bob and this is my introduction post.  I'm what I would call a small sports lover primarily with cycling and a bit of baseball (go Cardinals!).  I was previously a St. Louis Cardinals season ticket holder but my real love over the last two years has become cycling.

My Interests

Recently, I've really gotten into long distance tour cycling, but I do find interest in watching and following along with some race cycling.  For me, there is something magical about being on a bicycle for long periods of time.  The solitude of cycling along, with nothing but the wind and the sound of the pavement as the pedals move along.  A bit magical and somewhat meditative.  I'm also interested in sailing (don't know how much sailing sport is here, but that as well might be of interest), travel, and general adventure.

How I Arrived

I was referred by a friend of mine over on Steemit where I've been active since January.  My primary focus there has been creating videos about sailing, biking, travel, and adventure and I have the same username over there as well (@captainbob).  My friends @scoruminator3000 and @soccerfoodie were the impetus for me to make my way over.  So far I'm liking the site and it's interface seems friendly and easy to use.

I've had a great time over on Steemit so far and been quite involved in the community over there for some time.  Hoping to meet some people who perhaps share similar interests and contribute to the community to add some value perhaps.
