But everything ended with the death of scarponi, the small parrot was resting on the same place where he always was with scarponi to start the training routine. Scarponi was a person much appreciated by his family, friends and co-workers in addition to itialia in general. Given that he always represented his country with a lot of effort and usually had an excellent performance. They see our souls directly, come to our hearts, so I think that for a man like Scarponi, with an extraordinary career in cycling, captain of his team and with a relatively determined life, one of his greatest treasures was having shared with Franky and have become his friend.
Sadly Franky was also run over in the month of May of this year, so announced the account on Instagram of the person who was elected as caretaker of the bird. It was found lying on the pavement, still alive and without much damage, just a broken wing for which it had to be taken to the vet quickly. He had to undergo an operation but according to the publication everything went well and franky recovered after a month.
At the moment it is still flying over the skies of Italy, cheering the day to the neighbors and waiting some day to see his old friend again.
