King won in "La Covatilla"

It has been an incredible day that we have lived in the Spanish round. 200 km and several ports along the way and arrival at the mythical Covatilla.

It was expected a very tough day, and certainly it was.

Dylan Teuns (BMC Racing Team), Thomas De Gendt (Lotto-Soudal), Ben King (Dimension Data), Reto Hollenstein (Katusha-Alpecin), Thomas Leezer (LottoNL-Jumbo), Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo), Jesús Ezquerra (Burgos-BH), Lluis Mas (Caja Rural-Seguros RGA), Luis Ángel Maté, Kenneth Vanbilsen (Cofifis) y Aritz Bagües (Euskadi-Murias) took advantage very soon and the distances were increasing. King dreamed of dressing in red and worked hard to try to get it.

The runners arrived in the province of Salamanca, the city of Bejar welcomed them. The city of Roberto Heras and Lale Cubino, always gives a show, its narrow and steep streets give goosebumps.
