There is (again) a movie surfaced about a wheel that keeps running on social media trending. This time it comes out of the Tour de France. Toms Skujins sat still in a fall on the side and wanted to leave again. The wheel of the Latvian polka dot jersey ( ' champion of the hills ' ) keeps on turning in a bizarre way. The bicycles in France are meticulously tested for mechanical doping.

Although the two-wheelers in the Tour de France are checked thoroughly, the scene raises questions.

We have already seen this a few times in the event of a fall or hitch: the riders take their bikes and suddenly the wheel accelerates in the direction that you do not expect. You should actually play it out to explain how that works. The bikes are checked here daily, I am curious how such a thing can. How can such a wheel accelerate immensely without anything visible going wrong?

Steven de Jongh, sports manager of Trek, reacted briefly to the incident. "He put his chain back, it is normal for his wheel to take such a speed", the Dutchman jumps in the gap for Skujins.

If you ask me, very doubtfull. Guess we will never know.

Judge yourself and leave me your comment :o)
