Believe it or not, but even I thought that caving/ cave diving is an activity and not an extreme sport.
Here are a few that definitely go under an extreme sports category, and also some that go under it but you might never hear of them because they have nothing with the extreme sport.
SANDBOARDING - In this scenario, a happy camper surfs - but in a desert. I don't know how extreme this is, to my knowledge this is just weird and I don't think that you can go that fast above the sand.
ABSEILING / RAPPELLING - instead of climbing up the rocks, a person gets down the rock using a rope. So, in fact, you are sliding down the rope and that's pretty much it. Sounds easy as long your ropes are in order...
FREE CLIMBING - A rock climbing without a safety. If you are nuts you can do this. I tried it a few times, then I developed a brain.
BOULDERING - A rock-climbing on a pre-installed ( read artificial) course. Read I am afraid of artificial tall constructions, so in my case just forget it. In any other way, this is a sport in a controlled environment, so I see nothing extreme here.
PARKOUR - the combination of the monkey jumps and running in the urban areas. One more thing I can not do. They call it art, but I just don't know.
LANDKITING - A combo of the wheels, kite and a huge probability to make imp[act with a much bigger massive objects makes this one a real candidate for extreme sports.
ZORBING - It sounds like something, but in fact, it is a ridiculous activity in which an individual rolls around the bay in a giant air-filled balloon ( they call it a ball, I disagree...).
CLIFF DIVING/JUMPING - As it names says, you find a really high cliff and jump from it into the water ( deep enough) hoping not to die on during that crazy exhibition. I was only watching this but some jumps are very impressive.
JETSKIING - said to be an extreme ( action?) sport, but in fact, it consists of one guy with a Jet Ski driving nuts and occasionally launching himself to fly, of course, for refreshment.
JETBOARDING - Unlike jetskiing, this is an extreme sport by definition. This looks so awesome, cool and right out of a fiction novel that you just have to admit it takes some extreme skill to get you up on that and keep you flying around like a freaking Aquaman.
ICE CLIMBING - pack me up and let's go. Next to a free climbing even with all safety measurements, this is one of the most dangerous climbing sports.
WING SUITING - A person jumps off the high places in the specially designed suit ( plus parachute) that allows hovering in various directions whilst falling down. Extremely dangerous and listed into the dangerous extreme sports for a reason.
BUNGEE JUMPING - popular and widely accepted as something 'dangerous'. Not likely to do it.
PARAGLIDING and HANG GLIDING - literally the same thing with a bit different equipment. A stuff that looks extremely nice, calm and romantic can take an ugly turn in sloppy hands.
I hope I gave you some ideas for your next rush. Always be safe no matter what.
