So we are a little starved of racing action at the moment but luckily GoPro have us covered and we can check out the highlights from the MXGP of Italy and the final round in the FIM World Championship which went down in Imola, Italy last weekend.

It always blows me away how fast these guys come off the line and the intensity in lap one is simply off the chart! Sometimes the adrenaline can be running super high and Gautier Paulin, seasoned professional that he is, is not immune to these effects. Check out the over jump he does at 0:34, wow That was MASSIVE!" I'm not sure if it was the sun in his eyes that also contributed to it but man that was serious commitment and to even land that must've been painful.

The shadows always play tricks on you when you are out at the track as you have to react so fast and sometimes they cover obstacles or flatten out big ruts... Never good when you are charging full pace! Check out the intensity of the Qualifying Moto and remember this is not even for points yet haha this is just to get into the main race with a good gate choice.

We return again in the second video to check out the first moto of the day and again we follow Gautier Paulin. He gets a good drive off the start but gets pinched out by the pack and once you are in the thick of it then it's gonna be a fight to find a decent line. The sun was sitting higher in the sky by this point in the day which really helped the riders but man that was a spaghetti line choice for the entire first lap! Every rider was chopping and changing all over the track to try and find some good lines and not open any gaps to the riders behind.

Paulin takes some serious roost in the face in this moto and this is the main reason you do not want to follow a rider in front too close. It hurts bad and when you are dealing with a pack of up to forty bikes and jumps etc the last thing you need is more hazards or being pelted by roost!

Motivation for the upcoming MXoN and Monster Cup!

So if these go pros have not given you the buzz... I have just the thing :)

It's a wet Wednesday afternoon and i have a stinky cold... I have a mountain of work to get done and well, i feel pretty miserable and coldy. So what do you think would be the best way to give myself a little pep talk and put some wind back in those sails! Haha you guessed it! Some kick ass Motocross motivation!

If this vid doesn't pep you up and get you pumped to either hit the track or go watch some awesome local racing then man you are in the wrong place! It's not long now till the worlds rider collide at Redbud for the FIM Motocross of Nations and it's set to be a thriller! Tomac and Herlings are on point right now and that's not even taking into account the stacked field of worldwide talent on offer.

Drop that gate!
