Hi, friends!

Today we go into the group B era which is for some the best part in the history of rallying but not in my opinion.

The thing is that cars were too dangerous for drivers and safety is on the first place if you ask me.

Well, I was sitting in a rally car upside-down when car was on it's roof and the gasoline was leaking into the cabin.

It's not that romantic in that moment. MOTORSPORT is dangerous sometimes and if tow Lancia guys were burnt in their rally car and some other had nasty accidents in group B era, then it is obvious that something was bad in that time.

In this video we are in the season 1983 when Audi won British crown with one of the best drivers of that time - Stig Blomquist. Now you know why they called test driver The Stig in Top Gear program on BBC TV.

There were some other great drivers like Jimmy McRae in his Opel Manta, which was for me the best car when I was teenager because hand brake and rear wheel drive was an ideal combo for learning how to drive quickly.

Enjoy and learn from this piece of rallying...
