Hi, friends!

Ken Block is a global star well known as a Youtuber in Gymkhana videos all around the world. But his results in the World Rally Championship aren't the best one. He can compete at the highest level of the sport but something is missing.

Rallying is not filming a movies around some hangar or a plane. If you have a guts to drive 180km/h through the forest, that's rallying at the highest level. Unfortunately, Block is not there with the times at results sheet.

He is very attractive driver and it is good that the World Rally Championship has some star of that caliber. It's good for visibility of the sport in medias. After all, WRC lost so much interest in medias because of bad policy of the team leaders who sold the works seats for money to the rich privateers and not giving it to some guy full of talent.

That's the truth and anyone with knowledge of motorsport knows that. If we just look at the Williams F1 team this season, we can see that their results are really poor and that's because they sold their two seats to the paying drivers. They had to give that one seat to Robert Kubica and it would be much better, if you ask me.

However, I already wrote that Block bought Ford Fiesta WRC from M-Sport. But he is testing with the works M-Sport team. I should say that he is renting the car for Rally Catalunya. His mechanics can't prepare and manage that car through out the whole rally at the top level. Maybe he can rent the team of mechanics from M-Sport but I doubt that.

He is just to rich to think about all this situation. I guess he will pay and drive, simply as that.

He is 50 years old guy so we can't expect him to battle against some kid with name Kalle Rovanpera who will finish the rally in front of Block, even with the car of lower category. That's just how the things works. There are always some younger drivers with stronger nerves who will press the gas pedal to the floor.

Ari Vatanen once said: "Empty head and heavy foot are the winning combo in rallying". I can agree with this.

What about other news?!

Kris Meeke will drive Rally Condroz in Belgium with the Škoda Fabia R5. Citroen finally let him to drive some other brands as long he is away from the World Rally Championship.

Keep cool and enjoy...

The same rally but in 2010
