It seems that J-M Latvala's WRC career is coming to an end after another bad rally and this one is this weekend's WRC Rally Sweden.

Just to remind you that after being booted by Toyota at the end of 2019, he was given two outings in 2020 and that two are Sweden and Finland, places where he was always very fast and where he used to win.

There is something called stress of racing. Even machines aren't immune on this. On some rallies I drove, there were some things I couldn't understand. Sometimes every part of the car started to go wrong. New wire cables broke down and many other stuff. Parts just broke down, just like this.

I know sometimes when I am under a big stress even my smartphone starts to freeze. That's how I understand this.

That's probably what happened to Latvala this weekend. He knows he has to perform super good and he is under a big stress and then even works car starts to break down. Some stupid stuff went down yesterday.

After losing about one minute, he decided to withdraw from rally because chances for a good result went away.

That's it.

But because Toyota WRC boss is Finn Tommi Makinen, he promised him Sardinia outing in June where Latvala also used to perform well.

Let we see what future brings...
