I already wrote about Citroen's misfortune this season and all their tendencies to make car better with lot of testing and new homologated parts which didn't give some better results, especially on tarmac.

Seb Ogier couldn't snatch the 7th title and I would say that Citroen was name to blame for. They just didn't deliver the right car they had to.

Now when Tanak won the WRC title with Toyota and signed a contract with Hyundai for 2020, there is an empty seat at Toyota and it seems that Ogier wants to finish his WRC career there.

That left Citroen in doubt, to leave or to stay. They are not sure about season 2020 and now they revealed that they won't be present in WRC in hybrid new age of rallying.

What s important is that sport needs another manufacturer and if Citroen leaves, it would be even less works seats on the market and there are lot of quite good drivers around.

Well, we can only hope for best for the sport and that's it.

Stay tuned.
