Mads Ostberg became very consistent driver through years of his WRC career. This year he had to step down into supporting class with Citroen C3 R5 but it was a works drive with one of the Citroen's satellite teams.

I think that Ostberg wanted any kind of drive without paying for the seat and Citroen came with the offer because they needed a top driver to develop their newest homologated R5 car.

Alexey Lukyanuk took driving duties with Sainteloc Racing in the European Rally Championship but Mads Ostberg did better in WRC2 Pro class in WRC.

Overall he can be very happy with three or four wins in the class and overall R5 class in Catalunya.

I saw today on Adapta Motorsport 's Twitter that he is looking for a drive for the next season and Adapta is his father's company.

Good job, Mads...
