Petter Solberg finally said good-bye to the world of rallying with win in Wales because now it is coming a new generation of young drivers starting with his son Oliver who drive the same version of VW Polo R5 but not good as his father Petter who showed once again why he was a 2003 WRC champion.

I thought he said good-bye at the end of the last season in Catalunya but I was wrong. He was just on the farewell tour which is now over for good, it seems.

It's not that easy to be that competitive in years without of driving from rally to rally but Petter showed his strenght when being in car with his old co-drive Phil Mills.

They evemn finished in the points finishing 10th overall and grabbing that one single point for the good bye.

Thanks, Petter and Phil, I have been enjoying watching you from 1999 in that Ford Focus WRC.
