Spaniard Dani Sordo almost always finishes the rallies. I guess that's why he is in the sport so long, even without paying for the driver's seat in this cruel rally times. I guess he never paid for a seat. Only after he won the Junior World Rally Championship crown behind a wheel of Citroen C2 Super 1600 in 2005, he had to rent the car from private Citroen outfit called Kronos Racing from Belgium, and then Carlos Sainz sr found him a sponsorship to run almost whole WRC season with Citroen Xsara WRC.

After he started to finish on podiums, there was no doubt, another promising driver from Spain was in the sport. Unfortunately, he won only once and it was in Germany for Citroen.

Last five years he is with Hyundai WRC team, now having a half season drive or you can call it a part time drive.

He finished 4th in Corsica last weekend and next outing should be in Argentina for him. That's why he tested in Portugal on the gravel which is very similar to the surface in Argentina.
