Hyundai World Rally Team sent Dani Sordo to local Portuguese event called Rallye Serras de Fafe 2019 to bring him back on a rally track and to practice a little bit before Rally Mexico.

They sent him with their R5 weapon and not the WRC car. Rally fans and whole rally world know that their i20 R5 car is not that good in R5 class when we compare it to Škoda and Ford. But when you put the top driver like Sordo behind a wheel, everything is possible.

Sordo won all the stages of that gravel event, all but one, which was won by ex-Production WRC champ Araujo who was also behind a wheel of Hyundai R5 car. Araujo finally finished 7th overall.
