World Rally Championship is coming to the wire. There are only two stations left - Catalunya and Australia. Estonian Ott Tanak has very big chances to win the championship in Catalunya if other two competitors don't finish or they finish after 7th place, I would say.

Three other names are to be watched in this year's Catalunya Rally, Takamoto Katsuta with Toyota Yaris WRC, Eric Camilli with Citroen C3 R5 and new Junior World Rally Champion Nil Solans with Ford Fiesta R5 Evo.

It is very interesting that Solans gets a new co-driver in very experienced man Marc Marti who used to read notes for Carlos Sainz, Dani Sordo and Oriol Gomez in their Seat Ibiza Kit Car days (late nineties).

WRC Catalunya Rally is the only mixed surface event with with first day on gravel and the other two days on tarmac.
