The first edition of the German GP dates back to 1926, but it was only in 1951, which was considered valid for the Formula 1 World Championship: the time spent on the long, difficult and complicated circuit of the Nurburgring Nordschleife was the scene of that terrifying incident in 1976 that happened to Niki Lauda, who crashed into the rocks of the Bergwerk curve. But from 2008 onwards, as a matter of commercial rights between the AVD car clubs and ADAC, financial difficulties, have led to the alternate stations of the German GP would come to life in Hockenheimring and then in Design GP Nurburgring. After a brief one-year break, the Hockenheim circuit is ready to return to the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship.
