I was totally unfamiliar with fantasy sport and Do not know anything about it.

But after a while now I got familiar what it is, how does it work, and what shall we do to win a game.

In a simple world in Scorum fantasy sport you have a virtual budget (not real money or even SCR coin) that is limited and with this amount of money you have to choose some players from different team (i.e. team in the world cup) to line up a virtual team for yourself.

The real performance of players in the real game is scored and the fantasy player who choose best players with the best real scored win the fantasy game and will get some rewards.

Choosing players is may base on their score in current round of the match or you can choose them base on your knowledge and prediction of their performance in next round.

As I told you I was totally newbie in this field and I am now trying to help you work with fantasy sport platform step by step with some pictures.

Let's start.

First go the fantasy sport homepage https://draft.scorum.com/home

 

From top right corner click on "SIGN IN" to move forward to https://draft.scorum.com/login?lang=en-GB . On this page with your email as a username and with a chosen password make an account for Scorum Fantasy Sport that I call it SFS from now on.

After you make an account on SFS and log in, you will see a page like this

I highlighted 4 important section of the page. 

  1. Section 1 is your account name and your SFS balance. this balance is in SCR and you can charge your account for play money game. As a newbie I recommended not to charge right now and find and play free-roll game in SFS. free-roll games are those you do not need to spend entrance for it but you have still chance to win a good prize. Charging your account is so simple and you need to transfer SCR from your wallet to your SFS account that I explain later.
  2. On section 2 you can switch between live game (that registration time has expired), Upcoming game (that you can enter in it) and Past game (that is already finished and the winners is chosen).
  3. On section 3 you can filter your search. Like filter only free-roll game or game with specific amount of SCR and so on.
  4. On section 4 you can see all game that is available to entrance for you.

As a newbie you better choose free-roll game. Because you do not pay any SCR but you may have a chance to win good amount of SCR.

Now you see the name of the game, prize for winners, payment method for distributing prize between the winner, fee to entrance the game, time to start and the current number of players who already enter the tournament.  

As you see the tournament we choose is world cup 2018 -Day 3 of round 1. The prize that split between winners is 100 SCR. The entrance fee is free. Game start in 4 days and up to now there are 31 players attended in it.

By clicking on the icon on the left we enter this game.

By doing this we left lobby and enter to WC2018 FREEROLL MD3 page.

I will explain what we shall do in this page in part 2 very soon.
