Note: *This article can be utilized by those participating in the same League as me, or by those who are also participating in their own first Fantasy League competition. Enjoy.

... So rather than enjoying the idea of defeating lesser prepared opponents than I, I'd rather share some tips and suggestions for those participating in the same Fantasy Football League that I am playing in, hosted by @michaelluchies. Throughout all of my experience engaged in competition, I've found that the best wins come from beating opponents who were just as prepared as I was or even more skilled than myself.  Of course the element of surprise should always be factored in at any measure, but good sportsmanship should never be overlooked.

Here's a quick rundown of some of the steps I've taken to properly prepare for building a solid Fantasy Football Team moving forward to the draft this week:

 1. Create an account with NFL Now Game-Day Pass and begin a 7 day free trial or monthly subscription for any of your devices

  • Or just be sure to follow all of the latest news and live coverage of NFL action through youtube, TV, or any other media source.

2. Keep track of NFL season schedule so you know which players will match up with other players from other teams in the league.

Here is a link: http://www.espn.com/nfl/schedule

3. Begin your research on news from the NFL league and make note of which players are coming off hot from previous season performances as well as updates on injuries and  suspensions. You do not want to draft complete duds (at least I don't).  These will be setbacks you can avoid going into the season and beyond.

Below is an incomplete list of players I'm keeping my eye out for as well as a calendar I will use to keep track of events and games.

4. Listen to this guy

(^..."For Beginners") - Yes, there are other resourceful people you could rely on to receive thoughtful information from but always be sure to diversify the information you receive in order to make the most informed decisions and Draft choices.

 5. Whether you lose all of your games or win all of your games, always be sure to enjoy the experience.

. . . I think I've revealed enough. Good Luck

Lastly, thank you Mikey for putting forth the time and effort in hosting one of these for the Scorum community. I know at least everything you do isn't as easy as you make it look. I Appreciate it. I also appreciate others taking the time to participate and helping making this fantasy league a full 16 team league, which should make for some interesting match ups.

Thanks for reading...

Good Luck to all.
