Last time we left off, Kasumi enters a strange tower where many warriors entered, but only few returned traumatized by the experience of supernatural foes. Kasumi has passed through five floors, including one which housed a mysterious Gatekeeper. After defeating the Gatekeeper, who warns her of what lies ahead, Kasumi decides to steel herself to face the dangers ahead.

The sixth floor: The Flesh Guardians

The second Flesh Guardian

Kasumi enters the sixth floor, where she encounters two women wielding quarterstaffs (both of which would be played by the Iconics; Billie Kay and Peyton Royce). They both consider themselves lovers of flesh and one of them says, “When we get through with you, your flesh and bones will make nice decorations for these walls here.” Kasumi notices the walls, which are decorated with the ripped flesh and bones of the many unlucky combatants who have faced these two women, and replies “My flesh and bones won't be for ANYONE to decorate ANYTHING with.” A battle ensues. After a fierce battle, Kasumi manages to break both women's quarterstaffs, and then impale them with them simultaneously. After looking horrified by their defeat, the two women rapidly decompose into skeletons. Kasumi, slightly taken aback by the sight, heads to next floor.

The seventh floor: the snake, hornet, and jaguar guardians
Parts of the floor are littered with the bones of unlucky combatants who have fallen prey to the three vicious guardians of the seventh floor
Ruby Riott as the Snake Guardian: the vicious, deadly leader of the trio
Sarah Logan as the Hornet Guardian
Liv Morgan as the Jaguar Guardian

The seventh floor features piles of bones, but no guardians in sight. Soon, Kasumi notices three creatures: a snake, a Japanese giant hornet, and a jaguar. All three look at Kasumi cautiously, as if to observe her. As she reaches the center, all three attempt to attack, only for her to kick all three away as they turn into human form. The three guardians taunt the kunoichi, proudly proclaim that they can hear the beat of a heart and smell the blood of their prey. A battle ensues where Kasumi battles the jaguar, hornet, and snake guardians (who would all played by the Riott Squad tag team) individually. Each battle is liken to a battle between two predatory animals, both with the instinct to fight (and even kill). As Kasumi attempts to finish off the snake guardian after killing the other two, the snake guardian angrily asks her, “Do you think it means anything? You're just mortal flesh! No one can escape mortality!” Kasumi finishes off the snake guardian after using her foot to crush the guardian's neck and collarbone, and all three guardians turn back into creature forms after being defeated.

The eighth floor: the Tiger Guardian

The ninth floor: the Bear Guardian
The Bear Guardian

As with the seventh floor, the eighth floor seems to have an animal for a guardian; this time it is a tiger. As the tiger leaps to try to attack Kasumi, it transforms into a human (who would be played by Tamina Snuka). A fierce battle ensues, akin to the struggle between predator and prey. After awhile, Kasumi finally defeats the tiger guardian, who transforms back into tiger upon defeat. The ninth floor also has an animal guardian, this time a bear (its human form would be played by Nia Jax). For awhile, it seems the bear guardian would easily best Kasumi, even attempting to bear hug the kunoichi to death until she is temporarily blinded by a finger jab. After taking some fierce blows, the bear guardian transforms back into an animal upon defeat.

The tenth floor: the Stone Guardian
The Stone Guardian

The tenth floor is a bit different from the previous floors. There is various lumps of stone around a stone chair where the next guardian sits (who would be played by the Irish Lass Kicker and Champ; Becky Lynch). The stone guardian congratulates Kasumi for making this far, and the two decide to have a “battle of breaths”; both combatants engage in breathing exercises done by Karate practitioners to see who breathes the best before battle. The mysterious woman watches the two combatants quietly behind the scenes and taiko drums play out of nowhere as the two have a little pre-match warm-up/contest. After at least 2 minutes, the woman claps her hand once and the battle begins. Both combatants fight well, and the stone guardian tries a submission move (Becky Lynch's “Dis-Arm-Her” move) on Kasumi. The guardian almost succeeds until Kasumi reverses her at the last minutes and strikes a few crushing blows. The last blow causes the stone guardian to be in intense pain and fall to the floor. She then notices her body beginning to turn to stone. Before being completely petrified, she laughs and taunts Kasumi, proclaiming that “No one escapes death!” A minute after turning to stone, the guardian suddenly explodes, knocking Kasumi back a few feet. Kasumi starts to realize that every foe she meets in the tower from now on will become even more supernatural, and more powerful. Knowing that she cannot turn back, she heads to the next floor to meet the next challenge in the grueling Tower of Death.
