The game week 8 was dominated by the news Manchester United coming back to win against Newcastle United at Old Trafford and a stalemate between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield. The average score of the game week was 50 which was mainly due to the fact that most active FPL managers captained Eden Hazard. Hazard who was captained by the 23% of FPL managers alone got 28 captain points alone which boosted their overall ranking. Kane and Aguero who were captained by 22.9% and 21.6% managers failed to provide any return.
Wolves and the defensive assets were impressive once again as they managed a clean sheet at Crystal Palace, 4th of the season and Doherty managed his third attacking returns for his owner. He was the top scoring player this week with 15 points. Patrício owned only by 9% managers got 9 points, the highest among the goalkeepers. Wolves is providing a lot of value this season and aren't earned heavily because of their poor start of the season.
In the other game, Leicester at home was defeated by Everton by 1-2. Pereira listed as a defender in FPL started as attacking mid from the win for Leicester and got his first goal of the season. Also, Richarlison got his first after returning from the suspension while Sigurdsson got a goal and maximum bonus point to provide back to back double figure for his managers.
Kane blanked at home against newly promoted side Cardiff who played with 10 men for last 40 minutes and also got the yellow cards. Dier scored the only goal of the match at the 8th minute assisted by Sanchez. Arsenal also defeated Fulham by 5-1 as Aubameyang and Lacazette got the braces for Arsenal. Schürrle got the only goal for Fulham. Captain favorite Hazard scored and assisted in a win against Southampton to provide 14 points for his owner, along with Barkley who is just owned by 0.5% managers. Bournemouth also ran a rampage at Watford to defeat them 4-0 as King X 2, Wilson and Brooks were on the scoresheet.
Manchester United made a comeback to defeat Newcastle by 3-2 at home after an inspirational performance by Martial and Mata. Newcastle got both goals in first 10 minutes while ManUtd got all 3 goals in the last 20 minutes. Mata coming as a substitute got the first goal for United to return 10 points. Martial got a goal and an assist while Sanchez got the winners. At Anfield, Liverpool played a stalemate with Manchester City and Liverpool are the happy team as they avoided the defeat. Mahrez missed the penalty for City. The big players of FPL featured in this match which included Aguero, Salah, Mane, and Firmino. Mendy made a return and collected a clean sheet.

What a way to make a comeback for @hassan. After a series of poor performance, Hassan went for a wildcard and unbelievably a perfect wildcard. I have never seen any team doing this well after the wildcard, at least not me, I always mess my team up after the wild card. But @hassan did great, generous to leave plenty of points at the bench, 26 to be precise which could have taken him to the century mark and big boost in the ranking. He now has a stronger team and should be heading to the top 50 and even top 15 very soon. Nonetheless, he wins Scorum-fans/SBC Leagues for GW 8. Congratulations and you prizes have been delivered.
Some zoom out, and bang, I can see there in 16. Finally made it there after dropping continuously after the wildcard. @meitanteikun97 leads the pack with his team Meitanteiteam and @bartiemich is behind him after his team Bartie's team got fabulous 81 points.
