Scorum Fantasy Football draft, is the craze going down? We had 152 participants in WC2018 Freeroll MD1, but it went down to 115 participants in WC2018 Freeroll MD2It is not good news at all. I have seen a couple of post providing guide to make you fantasy draft, but the number of participants is decreasing. Maybe it was because the first round and second round match of group stages were played on the same day, and there was not enough time to create the team. Or maybe it is because many of us aren’t aware that we need to make our team for every round unlike the season game - Fantasy Premier League(FPL) which is very popular among us. Fantasy draft is played for each round, and you need to make your team for every round and prizes are distributed each round. So, if you had confusion and didn’t create your team for WC2018 Freeroll MD2, don’t forget that the deadline for creating today. Go ahead and make your team now clicking here: WC2018 Freeroll MD3.

These are my personal choice and may not fit within your budget limit. As always, winners are the one who can best fit the players within their budget limit. Following are fixtures for round 3:
_______________________________________________________
Goal Keeper:
1. Rui Patrico | 6M | vs Iran
Portugal will go to final group games with the aim to finish top of the table and will play against Iran. Portugal managed clean sheet against Morocco in the last fixture, and I believe they will repeat this performance. Same goes for David de Gea, but de Gea is a little bit expensive to Patrico. I will be more inclined to Patrico.
2. Farouk Ben Mustapha | 4M | vs Panama
He is a gem at his price, a playing goalkeeper at 4M is an enabler for your team. You can invest money in other parts of your team. Injury to Mouez Hassen means he will start against Panama. Tunisia is a far better team if we look at their ranking compared to Panama. He must grab a couple of points for you and is surely coming into my squad.

Defenders:
1. Jose Gimenez | 6M | vs Russia:
Uruguayan defender Gimenez now has 2 clean-sheets and a goal in as many as 2 matches. He now averages 9 points per matches. Uruguay hasn't conceded any goal in this world cup and will play Russia in their final match of the group stage.
2. Gerard Pique | 6M | vs Morocco
Spain backline had little to do against Iran, and I expect same thing against Morocco. Morocco are already out of group stage and nothing to play for while Spain want to win the group.
3. Ali Gabar | 4.5M | vs Saudi Arabia:
Both Egypt and Saudi Arabia are already out of the world cup, and they are playing for the pride in their final group matches. Ali Gabar is another enabler who comes cheap and will play 90 minutes for you.
4. Benjamin Pavard | 5.5M | vs Denmark
He is cheapest defender in backline of French team who have already qualified and will play Denmark in their last match in group stage. They would want to overcome the Danish team and go in next round as group winner. And Denmark at least need a point to have chance if Australia defeats Peru.
5. Manuel Akanji | 5M | vs Costa Rica:
I am the one who always try to gather cheap defenders and invest heavily in attacking line up, which means aggressive line up in my fantasy team. The best thing about Akanji is he will be playing against Costa Rica who are already going home and haven’t scored any goals this world cup. I kind of think another clean sheet is written for Akanji.

Midfielders:
1. Denis Cheryshev | 6.5M | vs Uruguay
Russia is playing great in their home. They were expected to be one of the worst sides to host the world cup ever with very bad form, but they have proven everyone wrong. They came into world cup as the lowest ranked nation and was expected to be knocked out early, but now they have progressed to next round. And Denis Cheryshev had been key to their success. Now he has 3 goals from 2 matches although he just has played 140 minutes. He will next play Uruguay in last group stage matches and will again be the key player for Russia.
2. Coutinho | 9M | vs Serbia
Remember the name, Coutinho who is doing great in this world cup. He has already scored two wonderful goals and is in great form. He should continue this streak against Serbia and one of the player to look out in this round. Brazil needs a point to qualify while Serbia must win to have chance of qualification. It is going to be interesting matches, and goal will be coming from both sides.
3. Luka Modric | 8M | vs Iceland:
He is magician, and Croatia is doing magic in this world cup. Croatia have already qualified as they defeated helpless Argentina last round, and Modric scored in both his previous games. Modric plays as up in midfield but there were hints coming from the manager that he might rest some key player.
4. Christian Eriksen | 8M | France:
Another great player, and I regret not having in my team. Eriksen is big game player and will face France in their final match of group stage. Denmark needs a point to qualify, and Eriksen will be their key player. Eriksen already had a goal and an assist in his previous fixtures.
5. Xherdan Shaqiri | 7M | vs Costa Rica
Shaqiri ruined the Serbian party at 90th minute and took Switzerland close to next round. He is doing great in Russia, and already have a goal and an assist to his name. In the third round, he will be playing against Costa Rica who is already out of world cup, and Shaqiri is certain to return something to the Fantasy Managers

Forwards:
1. Cristiano Ronaldo | 12M | vs Iran
Ronaldo scored massive 14 points for his fantasy managers in MD1, he added another goal against Morocco. He now has 4 goals in total. He is priced at 12 million in a Fantasy draft. Now, he averages 10 points per game. He is a talisman for the Portugees team, who face Iran in their final group matches. Portugal would want to win this match by big margin and progress to group stage as a winner, and Ronaldo will be a key man. He is now turning out to be a must-have player for your draft team.
2. Diego Costa |9.5M | vs Morocco
Costa got 10 points for his fantasy managers, with 2 goals against Portugal and scored a goal against Iran. He is another player to have in your squad as Spain have easy upcoming fixtures against Morocco who are already out of World Cup.
3. Marco Reus | 9M | vs South Korea
Marco Reus had an excellent game against Sweden as Germany survived the crush of World Champion going home early. They haven’t yet ensured their place in next round, and they need to defeat South Korea for it. Reus had a goal and an assist against Sweden.
4. Harry Kane/ Romelo Lukaku (9.5M/10M):
These two premier league players are in great form and had already scored big in their previous matches. Kane now has 5 goals while Lukaku has 4 goals. The only bad news is England and Belgium will be facing each other and I don’t expect it to be a high scoring match.
_______________________________________________________
There are many other players to look out for, but these set of players are entirely my opinion who did great in the previous round of fixtures and have good fixtures coming up. And it will be very hard to accommodate all this player within the budget of 100M. Play smart, try to balance your team with expensive as well as cheap players. And make sure that all the players you choose at least play more than 60 minutes. Having non-playing player and wasting your valuable budget is the worse thing for your draft team.
Good Luck!!!
