For you fantasy football junkies out there you very well know the idea of a "comfortable lead" going into the last game of the week is a rare thing.

This was the dilemma I was faced with on Monday night!

My opponent was left with one player. Mike Evans, WR for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

I was up 18.6 points going into the game. Not a mind boggling lead, but one big enough where Evans needed to have a big game and a score.

Worse Scenario For This?

The worst scenario could be for the Steelers to jump out to a big lead on the Bucs forcing them and Fitzmagic (who was not magical in the 1st half) to start junking the ball around like crazy.

Of course the fantasy gods bestowed this exact situation upon me. However, with 11 minutes or so left in the fourth quarter - Evans, who had 4 receptions for 99 years at the time was still roughly 6 points away from handing me defeat. (.5 pts reception league)

All I needed was for him to not grab a TD. Few more receptions and 40 yards were even okay, I'd squeak it out.

Touchdown Time

Nope, the buccaneers last score was a 40 yard bomb to Mike Evans for the score.

Poof! There goes my win.

And so goes fantasy football...
