We don't get to get out much as there are many a thing that keeps us off of the water. Mainly, it's just time consuming and we'd just assume fish from the bank instead of taking the extra hour to load up the canoe. This was a special day though. It was the first time my little princess joined us!

Was our escape that day. I was really impressed as she didn't complain once about the heat. The only thing that she said that wasn't exactly positive is, "Um, Daddy, I gotta go to the bathroom." And we laughed because we were almost done and off the water, so she said she could wait a few more minutes. One of the best experiences she had so far she said this summer. Too bad she didn't catch anything. Oh well, there's always next time!
