Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope, it's another week flying on by like a rocket! I think the busier your life and the more you squeeze in there, the quicker the time goes and time definitely moves quicker as you grow older. I have actually expressed all of this in this simple equation:

Ha ha, just fucking with ye! They are of course Maxwell's equations and have nothing whatsoever to do with growing old. Right, moving swiftly on!

I have gotten through week 4 of this new fitness routine, and I am proud to say that I am still going strong. The habit is well and truly formed at this stage and now I am actually scared to stop for more than 1 rest day, as the habit could easily break away if I was to go AWOL for 2 or 3 days, so where possible I have been only taking 1 or 2 days rest and this week, I didn't take any rest day.

I was happy to get the running shoes back on again this week, I managed to find 20 minutes on the way home from work mid week, and while driving through the park, I pulled in grabbed my gear from my boot, quickly changed into my gear, had a quick stretch and away I went for a 4km run. I have done so little running in the last year or two, this was my third 4km run this year, and my time is now down to 19 minutes 53 seconds. I am going to try and shave a little bit of it every time I run if possible and also want to slowly increase the distance and get myself back up to 10km+ distances again.

I am going to be patient though and not try to increase the distances too quickly. I also managed to hit the golf course, which equates to a 7 or 8km walk, so I am happy with that level of cardio workout for now, but like I say I will try to increase that over time.

Wishing you the very best of luck this week with your fitness endeavors or failing that, just your life in general. I hope it's a great week for you and remember, the vibes you put out are often what you will receive back in the long run. Life is often like a mirror in that respect in my opinion, so remember to smile, and hopefully the world smiles with you.

Thanks for reading.

Peace Out.
