In today's workout, we will be learning about various sit-ups and crunch positions you can perform to tone the abs area.

Difference between Sit-Ups and Crunch: It is an abdominal workout performed to tone the abs area of the body. It is similar to a crunch but it involves much more movement the entire torso from the gym mat into a semi-seated position than a crunch which only focuses on lifting just your shoulders and upper back of the gym mat.

Sit-ups are very important if you want to strengthen the rectus abdominal muscles. It also improves posture and back injuries in the long run.

These are types of workout that can help tone your Abs area.

Leg Raises

How to perform leg raises:

Lie on your back and place both hands beneath your back as shown in the picture above. Raise both legs together in a sequence order and create an (L) shape. Bring both legs down and repeat again. Perform 10 reps, rest and move to the next workout.

Sit-Ups Leg touch

How to do Sit-Ups Leg touch:

Lie on your back with your knees bent In a sit-ups position. Lift your torso up as close to your thighs and touch both sides of your outsep foot with your right and left hand and slowly lower it back down. Once you are back down you should repeat the first step again and do as many reps as you wish depending on your fitness level.

Knees up Crunch

How to do the Knees up Crunch:

With the knees up crunch, it is similar to the 2nd workout. With this lie on your back and lift your legs by bending it up until they form a 90 degree angle from your torso. Place both hands behind your head and lift your shoulders and upper back off the ground.
