The new fitness trend comes from Germany: drinking beer while doing Yoga.

BeerYoga is the marriage of two great loves – beer and yoga. Both are centuries-old therapies for body, mind and soul. The joy of drinking beer and the mindfulness of yoga compliment each other, and make for an energizing experience. BeerYoga is fun but it’s no joke: we take the philosophies of yoga and pair it with the pleasure of beer-drinking to reach your highest level of consciousness. This is defined by the enthusiasts of this new fitness discipline.

How many times have you been tempted to skip the gym and go directly to the aperitif with your friends? Now you do not have to feel guilty anymore, because from Berlin comes the Beer Yoga (or BierYoga, if you prefer the original version in German). This is a new discipline that aims to help you find your Om thanks to a bottle of beer.

We analyze all its aspects

1 How the Beeryoga works:

The idea is simple: a classic yoga class with the unusual addition of a nice bottle of beer. Thanks to a container containing fluid you can infact make more challenging movements to train the balance of the body, stretch the muscles and, to quench your thirst!

2. Singles Social

Alcohol lowers the inhibition so a beer combined with the discipline of yoga could also help you make new friends or whoever you find love.

3. Lucrative business

Today the business is expanding, there are many companies around the globe that offer BierYoga courses. One of them is that one founded by Brooke Larson, Beer Yoga LLC.

“I started Beer Yoga as a joke. I took silly photos of me doing yoga poses with a beer in my hand and posted them to social media. Before long, breweries started sending me beers to post on my Instagram page when it started growing to over 10,000 followers. Once I reached 20,000 followers, I got yoga certified and decided to open Beer Yoga, LLC and teach yoga classes at breweries and bars."

You can check Brooke's profile on Instagram and count already 32.000+ followers with link to partecipate her classes and pictures.

Personal opinions

I think that for people is a fun way to socialize and make something different, for companies is a new business channel very lucrative, which has little to do with real sport and with be fit.
