Motivation Monday with @hellsbelle: week 4
The walk of shame... That's what I feel like I'm doing right now. This week was not a good week for me. I didn't do a single workout (Swolesome did one) and I ate bad foods all week long. On top of that I became a Scorum ghost, not posting or even getting on Scorum to upvote others. I have truly failed and I feel terrible. I want to blame Thanksgiving, family being in from out of town, and being extremely busy at work, but I won't. I could have made time to exercise. I could have went easy on the desserts at Thanksgiving. I could have posted a time or two this week, but I didn't. There's nothing I can do to go back and do this week over so I have to learn from my mistakes and go into this next week with determination to do better. Measurements Arms-12.5 inches Thighs- 23.75 inches Calves-15.5 inches Waist-35.75 inches Although I didn't exercise at all this week and ate terribly my measurements didn't change at all. I guess that's a win. Last week's goals As you can tell from my first paragraph, I didn't reach any of my goals from last week. It's a new week, moving on. Moving forward This week my goal will be to exercise four times and to be conscious of what I'm eating. I'm not on any certain diet because I refuse to diet during the holidays, but I am trying to eat more protein and cut out some of the carbs and sugary treats. It's pretty easy at work because I can go to Sonny's BBQ for lunch and order a salad. Sometimes Swolesome will even go with me. I'm going to take a second to brag on Swolesome. No matter how much I poke at him he's always a good sport and takes my jabs like a champ. When I tell him I'm working out he says "atta girl!" When I want a salad from Sonny's BBQ he goes with me and commends me for choosing a salad over all you can eat ribs. He has been my biggest supporter in this fitness challenge and I am so thankful for him. Because neither one of us worked out four times this week we both owe $10. Our total is $70. If we don't start doing better we'll have enough money to go to the Daytona 500 in February. How did y'all do this week? Did Thanksgiving mess you up? Comment below! XOXO @hellsbelle 🖤
