And again, the announced top game did not really hold what it promised. The first appearance of HSV and 1. FC Köln in the second German football league was also the match first against second, and the fans of both teams expected some interesting and intense fighting on the pitch. The next games will all not be no-brainers and we have already seen how susceptible HSV is against supposedly weaker teams this season. Especially the complacency and arrogance could continue to harm the club and lead to further setbacks. Of course, the team from Köln cannot be written off yet and will do everything in their power to regain the lead in the standings again, and also the other pursuers like the city rival St. Pauli or Union Berlin are very close on their heels. Even if the HSV is celebrating again, it still remains exciting. Since nobody had predicted the result of 1:0 for HSV, there is unfortunately no winner on this matchday.
