Richarlison scored a brace on his debut for Everton against Wolves

The English Premier League has resumed action this past weekend and the star of the weekend for me was Everton's new boy, Richarlison.

The Brazilian joined Everton as the Club's record signing this summer for £50 million from Premier League rivals, Watford.

The 21-year old re-joined his former Manager, Marco Silva who signed him for Watford last season at Goodison Park.

He wasted no time in making his presence felt and showing signs of why he is the Toffees' record signing.

He opened the scoring for the Toffees on their visit to Wolves over the weekend.

He gave 10-man Everton the lead midway through the game with a fine effort inside the 18-yard box after Ruben Neves had levelled things for the Premier League new boys.

Although the game ended in a draw with Jimenez getting a late equaliser for Wolves after Everton had played almost half of the game with 10 men, Richarlison has paved way towards becoming a fans' favourite at Merseyside.

The downside to the game however was that Richarlison got an injury scare which is thought to be a calf injury and could be a doubt for Everton's next game.
